Stephen Kelly is an experienced trial lawyer in the Santa Monica office. Stephen’s experience spans a broad array of subject matters, including product liability and consumer class actions. Mr. Kelly has managed all aspects of cases of litigation from initial discovery, to first and second chair experience in trial throughout the state of California. Prior to joining Robins Cloud, LLP, Stephen represented the Volkswagen group of companies in various product liability and class action matters throughout the State. Additionally, Stephen has successfully obtained injunctive, declaratory and monetary relief for various corporate and individual clients throughout the State at both the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court.
Mr. Kelly’s focus is on making complicated factual and legal issues simple and understandable for juries, judges, and other decision makers. Clients have praised his ability to do exactly that, both in briefing materials and in the courtroom.
Mr. Kelly is admitted to practice before state courts in California and Texas, as well as the United States District court for the Central District of California. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Kelly was an accomplished student-athlete. Stephen earned a scholarship for Men’s Rowing while receiving multiple Big West Conference scholar-athlete awards.
